Jubilee is a deeply rooted biblical principal governing the use of land.
The core premise states that land is the Lord God’s and we are solely stewards of it. The land was to rest every Sabbath year and lay fallow. After seven sabbath years, the fiftieth year was to be a Jubilee Year.
